1. Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to SlotX (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing or using the SlotX platform, including our website, mobile applications, APIs, and all associated services (collectively, the “Service”), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”).
If you are using the Service on behalf of a business or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.
2. Account Registration & Security
To use certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. When registering, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process
- Maintain and promptly update your account information to keep it accurate and current
- Maintain the security and confidentiality of your login credentials and any 2-Factor Authentication backup codes
- Accept all responsibility for activities that occur under your account
- Immediately notify SlotX of any unauthorized use of your account
SlotX reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain inaccurate information or are used in violation of these Terms. You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account.
3. Subscription & Billing
SlotX offers various subscription plans, including free trial periods. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to the following:
- Free Trial: New users may be eligible for a 14-day free trial. No credit card is required to start. At the end of the trial, your account will be downgraded to the free tier unless you subscribe to a paid plan.
- Billing Cycle: Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually, depending on your chosen plan. Payments are due at the beginning of each billing cycle.
- Refunds: Payments are generally non-refundable. However, we may offer pro-rated refunds at our sole discretion for annual plans cancelled within 14 days of purchase.
- Price Changes: We reserve the right to modify pricing with a minimum of 30 days' prior notice via email. Continued use after the price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
4. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights
- Send spam, unsolicited communications, or misleading booking requests
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or SlotX systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
- Upload malicious code, viruses, or any harmful content
- Use the platform for any illegal, fraudulent, or deceptive activities
- Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the Service without prior written permission
5. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content (excluding user-generated content), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of SlotX and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Service, nor may you reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of any software used in the Service, unless applicable laws prohibit these restrictions.
6. Data Ownership & Processing
You retain all ownership rights to the data you submit through the Service (“Your Data”). By using our Service, you grant SlotX a limited, non-exclusive license to process Your Data solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service.
We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights and permissions to share any personal data of your customers through the platform.
Upon termination of your account, you may request an export of Your Data within 30 days. After this period, we may permanently delete Your Data from our systems.
7. API & WhatsApp Integration
SlotX offers API access and WhatsApp integration for automated communications. By using these features, you agree to:
- Only send communications to customers who have explicitly opted in to receive messages related to their bookings
- Comply with Meta/WhatsApp's Business Platform Terms and Policies
- Not exceed the rate limits specified in your subscription plan
- Not use the API or integrations for marketing purposes unless the recipient has provided explicit consent
- Include an opt-out mechanism in all promotional communications
SlotX is not responsible for any penalties or consequences resulting from your misuse of automated messaging features.
8. Termination & Suspension
We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including but not limited to:
- Breach of these Terms of Service
- Failure to pay subscription fees
- Fraudulent or illegal activity
- Extended period of inactivity (12+ months on free accounts)
You may cancel your account at any time through your dashboard settings. Upon cancellation, your paid subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing cycle.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SlotX and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
- Loss of profits, revenue, or business opportunities
- Loss of data or goodwill
- Service interruptions or downtime
- Any damages arising from third-party integrations
Our total liability for any claims related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to SlotX in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to the new terms taking effect. Notice will be provided via email to the address associated with your account or through an in-app notification.
Your continued use of the Service after the updated Terms become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, you must stop using the Service and cancel your account.
